Great News; I have been nominated as coach for the NB Canada Winter Games Judo Team 2015 next February along with two athletes from the Dragons Judo Club: Jedrick Imbeault and Alexandra Levesque

Gabriel Traversy and Malcolm Pelletier at Elite National Top 8

GabrielTraversy and Malcolm Pelletier will be participating at the Top 8 National in January.

This event is a selection for the European tour U18 next March and the U18 World championship next summer.

It is a great accomplishment for those two athletes to have been selected.

Great results for the Dragons at the NB Cup.
7 athletes and 9 Medals (7- Gold / 1 Silver / 1 Bronze) and 2 new Black Belts (Christophe Pelletier and SylvainBouchard).

The Girls with Antoine Valois Fortier

At the Coupe Daniel Hardy on October 18th, the girls from the Dragons Judo Club had the previled to met Antoine Valois-Fortier, Bronze Medal at the London Olympic Games.   Girls Power!

Top 8 Close National 2015

Congratulation to two of our top athletes Malcolm Pelletier and Gabriel Traversy that made the cut for the Top 8 close National 2015 next January. 
I also want to mention that only 7 athletes from NB got selected. Ryan Cameron (KV), Vanessa Ouellette (Bushido), Andrew Vienneau (Shimpokai), Nick Aube(Shimpokai) et Chartine Chenhall (Kiyokan).

Ontario Open, the Dragons hit hard again!

Two athletes from the Dragons were at the Ontario Openl on Saturday November 8th.
Gabriel Traversy won Silver in U18-81kg. Great performance and great result. 
Jedrick Imbeault finished the day with 1 win and 2 losses.  Jedrick fought well and lost some close matches.
Congratulation to both of them.  Long live the Dragons.

Quebec Open International

The Dragons Judo club had 4 athletes at the Quebec Open.

- Malcolm Pelletier: U16-46 kg:  This is Malcolm first presence at the Quebec Open and already show a strong presence and won Bronze.  

- Chris Pelletier: U18-66kg:  This is Chris first year in U18 and he showed courage and determination.  He won 1 match and lost 2.

- Gabriel Traversy:  U18-81 kg.  Gabriel won Bronze with an outstanding performance.   This year look very promising 

- Jedrick Imbeault: U21-73 kg.  Jedrick had a excellent performance and lost some close matches and finished the day with 1 win and 2 losses.

I am very proud of our athletes.  They always show up for a tournament well prepare and ready for battle.
